Architectural Illustration of the Albert Dock in Liverpool. The stunning Albert Dock is one of the greatest reminders of Liverpool’s huge impact during the industrial revolution. It was opened in 1846 and was the first piece of architecture in Britain to be made out of cast iron brick and stone. New materials like the brick we know today were mass produced in the industrial revolution and make up a large proportion of our homes today.
The Albert Dock was granted its Royal charter in 2018 after commercial units and residential spaces were thriving in this space which were added in 1984 after its restoration due to bombing in World War two
