The Trevi Fountain is extremely popular landmark and fountain in Rome. The Trevi Fountain is the largest baroque fountain in the city and is surrounded by an array of independent cafes and restaurants that offer customers a beautiful view of Trevi Fountain. The virgin water aqueduct has carried water 10km to the fountain since its inception and this still runs today! Trevi Fountain’s construction started in 1732 and then finished in 1762. The construction took longer than expected as the initial architect ‘Salvi’, died in 1751 which slowed down the process. Pannini was then appointed to take over and see the construction of this Baroque fountain through.
Original art pieces are the best way to catch the character of the building and the drawing style. Faint pencil lines may be seen in some original drawings, however, this simply add story and process to an art piece. Originals are all ‘one off’ drawings however the artist retains the right to the copyright of the piece and is still able to sell prints of the piece.
