Upon creation and through the design process, the Pyramid design raised debates whether the design was suitable for the Renaissance design of the Louvre. Many claimed it was not compatible and also drawn on the Pyramids ties to death in Ancient Egypt. Despite this, the Louvre Pyramid still stand and acts as one of the entrances to the largest museum in the world.
